Token Economics - POR Distribution

Portuma's Self-Sustaining Financial Cycle

Portuma is an official company established in both Turkey and the United States.

It operates in the in-game advertising industry, which was valued at $7 billion in 2022. In order to stabilize and boost its market value, Portuma uses 20% of its monthly advertising revenue for buybacks on the exchanges where it is listed.

Use 100% of PORTOKEN Treasury Liquidity Fees for Buyback & Burn

This proposal directs all fees earned by PORTOKEN,s protocol-owned liquidity (POL) to be used for buying POR on the open market and permanently burning it. Only fees from PORTOKEN-controlled liquidity are included. Fees from community or third-party LPs are not affected.

Why This Matters

Direct supply reduction: Every trade generates fees that will now remove PORTOKEN from circulation. Stronger holder alignment: This program removes tokens from circulation held by participants not committed to PORTOKEN’s long-term growth and direction, effectively increasing relative weight for committed long-term holders. Alignment with growth: More usage = more fees = more POR burned. Transparency: Burns are recorded on-chain and reported to the community.

How It Works

POR collects fees from its own liquidity positions on BSC. These fees are used to buy POR tokens back on the market. Purchased tokens are then sent to a burn address, permanently reducing supply.

Future Expansion

Over time, we will explore expanding the program to include additional sources of protocol revenue, with the goal of steadily increasing the scale of POR buybacks and burns as the ecosystem grows.
